I was unable to get step three to work. The individual lines were colored the background was. Do you know what went wrong?

I had to use SAI to finish it off because the coloring with gradients on mine fills the whole image even with screens and Normals (I don't have an option for standard, so I figured it's the same thing). But it still worked quite well. Thank you. [link]
