Medusa's Saviour Resubmit by sakimichan Medusa's Saviour Resubmit by sakimichan
Feel free to use it as wallpaper : )

Sorry for the resubmit ^^, I had to correct a few things and I wanted to add some texture on it as well and I think 1 picture per day is enough XD I'm trying to stick to 1 pic a day for this week at least > .<

This painting is about medusa who meets a blind man who didn't mind her appearance, because of his kind heart he had to comfort her crys and so the story goes...

This is a really nice idea considering Medusa was a victim in her own story.
I just love the contrast. He is light and hope while she was cloaked in the darkness for a long time...
Such a beautiful story =)  she deserved better than her fate.
The textures and value in this piece is amazing. Your take on what the serpents look like is remarkable too.

Awesome Clap  Great, heartwarming picture and nice story!
Medusa's story is so sad, I'm happy she finally has her happy ending.
I absolutely love this piece, especially because Medusa was supposed to be a beautiful priestess who got raped by Poseidon, and as punishment Athena turned her into the monster people are used to hearing about. I think she deserves a happy ending like this <3
He's delivering a pizza, but she has no money-how will she pay for it???

This is so interesting. I never thought to consider Medusa as a tortured person like she is portrayed here. I love her pose and her hands, her disbelief that someone has come to care for her. The background, of course is stunning. I love the light and dark contrast in this one!!! Especially how a little of Medusa's dark is around the man and a little of the man's light is under Medusa. Those snakes are so freaky! D : If I have one criticism, it's that Medusa looks a tad too pretty, considering her curse was supposed to make her ugly and horrifying. But maybe that's a point? The man can bring out the good in her perhaps. This is so meaningful, how he's blind and everything. How spectacular! And original.

I think one of my favorite things about your art style is how there aren't really many lines. It's like in real life, where everything is more a blend of colors than distinct outlines, you know? I love how you make things flow, like Medusa's dress and how their feet blend into the ground or their clothes. The ground, too! It all looks like icing to me. : )
