Hey guys, here's a quick step by step on how i usually go about painting eyes ^_^

some facts: I painted this on 1 single layer, I use a standard round brush at 80% opacity with pressure on. i also use the air brush at a low opacity(5-20%) for blush and blending.

Used: photoshop CS 6 : )

Hey sakimichan if it's not too much to ask, could you put what you did each step? Because some of it is confusing. Like I can tell at some points you added shine or shadows or a blur of some sort but which one specifically would be nice :) It doesn't have to be like all the number crunching but just like "multiply this layer" or "overlay this" or whatever would be great. If not I understand. Thanks.

You have no idea how much this helped me today! Drawing eys with a turned head, when one eye is dead on and the other partially is such a pain for me sometimes...

Your pictures are generally very helpful with different perspectives!

Eyes look better in step 11 than step 12 but great work still

Despite all my practice over the last 15 years, I still can't understand how anyone can be this amazing. Even your quick tutorials make my work look like poop xD. I'm genuinely jealous lol
